Hello, my name's Sophie and I'm a journalist with a lifelong passion for food. 

Despite this being a long-term enthusiasm, it hasn't been without stumbling blocks (allergies, I'm looking at you!). Unable to eat egg yolk or shellfish amongst other things, it can sometimes be tough to find good food to eat. However, that has bred an "if I can I will eat it" attitude in me and made me even more determined to find food I can eat. So here on this little website, I'm going to be posting food reviews, allergy-friendly restaurants I find and recipes to help fellow allergicos and your friends with allergies.
