Welcome back Allergicos! This week, I'm reviewing Serious Pig's Snacking Pickles, which are minature gherkins flavoured with dill and other herbs.
I'm a big fan of pickles in general, from the dainty gherkins and cornichons that suit paté to the gigantic dill versions beloved by Americans. These snacking pickles fall somewhat in-between the two, as they are the size of the dainty cornichons but flavoured in the way the larger US versions usually are.
Upon opening the packet, I was immediately greeted by a strong dill scent which intrigued me greatly. The taste was amazing, sweet and sharp and tangy and really moreish, once I started eating the pickles, I couldn't stop until I'd finished the whole packet. These are a great way to add extra zing to any snack selection.
