Allergico Reviews: Tony's Chocolonely

Writer: Sophie WallaceSophie Wallace

Hello Allergicos! This Wednesday we're bringing you another brand which combines a delicious product with important charity work. Tony's Chocolonely are a chocolate brand who donate a portion of their profits towards ending child slavery in the chocolate production chain. They aim to one day create a world where chocolate is 100% slave-free.

The bars themselves come in a variety of flavours and whilst they've not been available in the UK for that long, their quality and brilliant flavour have already made them a roaring success.

Both their 70% dark chocolate and sea salt almond (both pictured above) varieties are vegan and absolutely delicious. The former is rich and has all the qualities of great dark chocolate, without too much bitterness and the latter is a gorgeously creamy dark chocolate bar with salted almonds cutting through the sweetness perfectly.

These and other varieties of Tony's Chocolonely are available in most supermarkets, but these two bars were from TheVeganKind supermarket and each cost £4.09.
