Hello Allergicos! Once again Christmas is fast approaching which means I'll be bringing you a season of festive posts. As the Christmas lights are now sparkling in Coventry, I decided to head for a cheeky drink at Cosy Club, a place which heavily populates the social media of my fellow Coventrian students.
The first thing I was struck by was the decor, it had a beautiful old-fashioned feel that was well, cosy! But what about the drinks?
Taking advantage of their very reasonable 2 drinks for £9.95, I went for their "Mexican Maria" and "Forest Gateau" cocktails, very different sounding flavours but both very intriguing. So first up was the Mexican Maria which was intriguingly smoky and very delicious, would highly reccomend if you're looking for something a bit different. But will the Forest Gateau make the grade?
Firstly I just want to say I thought the heart motif was super cute and secondly that this was an amazing drink! It tasted like liquid Black Forest Gateau and is truly something special.
Well after what was probably one of the most intriguing foodie adventures I've been on I can categorically give Cosy Club the thumbs up! A great deal and great drinks make for the perfect atmosphere, bravo!
